"My name is Sentry, alpha of this pack." the white fae said as she looked to the brute in curiosity. "What do you mean by it's no different than a bears cave?" the female was very confused at the males word. She shifted uncomfortably as she looked at him. Her gray pools watching him with interest.

Sentry, right. Must remember that. The dark brute looked at the white fae, and shrugged slightly. He didn't know how she'd react if he were to tell her his past. His mother had told him many times that wolves didn't like bears because of the few out there that did bad things. "I was raised by bears." he explained in a deep voice. "This is the first time I've came in contact with a actual wolf pack." he added, shrugging.

Sentry was taken aback. She glared at the male with a shocked and confused look on her face. Shaking her head she looked down and shuffled her fore-paws. "Sorry about my reaction.." she said in a low tone. "Bear's aren't my favorite animals in the forest." she said with a sigh. She felt her body heating up with rage as she remember how the large brown bear tore through her parents territory and destroyed everything in it's path, killing off all of her friends and pack mates. The white fae was lucky to have escaped without being touched.

The brute's ears flicked back for a moment as he watched her expression. Although he didn't understand wolves very well, he could tell something had seriously upset her. "It's alright." he responded quietly. "I know wolves have bad histories with bears. I've always been told that." he shrugged. "I probably would have thought the same if I didn't owe my life to one." The brute shook his head and padded closer to the mouth of the den. "This cave is massive. Say, how many wolves are in this pack?" he asked, changing the subject.

Lyall walked out of the inside of the cave and instantly growled at the male. She didn't like males in general, but he was kind of interesting. She bared her teeth "is he joining out pack" the large female brute asked.

The dark brute blinked blankly when a she wolf came and started growling at him. He glanced in Sentry's direction.

((Brute is usually a term for male wolves.))

Sentry shifted her attention from Bear to her pack mate, her ivories baring at the fae. "Be respectful." the white demoness said with a growl. "and yes. He is welcome to join if he so pleases." the alpha female turned her attention back to the new comer. "We have eight wolves including you." Sentry said to Bear in response to his question. A small smile appeared on her visage.

Lyall lowered her lip. She bowed her head "sorry alpha, I am not a fan of males" she said. She watched the male.

Sentry flicked an ear, swiveling it in Lyall's direction. "I can understand that but these males are your pack members and if you expect to be accepted here you must respect the males just as they are to respect you." the white fae said in a soft forgiving tone to the she-wolf.

Lyall nodded "yes of course. Welcome to the pack.. what is your name" she said with a smile. She sat down next to her alpha.

Sentry curled her tail around her white front paws. Her gaze shifting back to the new comer as Lyall spoke to him. She waited on a response from what she had said as well to Lyall asking the new brute his name. She sat up tall, waiting with patience. Giving the brute time and space.

The dark brute grinned slightly. It was the first time he was disliked for something that didn't involve bears with him. Bear turned his attention back on the cave while the two were talking. He didn't want to eavesdrop. His ears perked when the other fae started talking to him. "I'm Bear." he replied. His russet brown orbs watched her, to see if she would laugh like a certain alphess had before. "And your name?"

Lyall nodded "nice name. I'm Lyall" she said and shook her black fur. Her yellow eyes scanned the male then met back to the male "and were have you come from, if you don't mind me asking" she said.

"A very far away place." Bear replied, not really wanting to answer. "A dead place really." he muttered. The dark brute's thoughts went to his deceased mother and sibling. He shook his head and laid down on the cold floor. "What about you? Where are you from?" he asked, forcing a smile.

Lyall nodded and laid down. She shook her head "far away and dead. Pretty much the same as you" she said. With her large size she had to have a large coat. Her long black hair kept her warm, her scars were very visible. They ran down her legs, her stomach and all over her face.

Sentry's gray pools scanned over her domain as her two pack mates spoke to one another. Something small and furry caught her gaze. Without hesitation the white beast rose to her paws, lowered her frame slightly and then took off after the hare. She leaped forward, pushing herself off the ground with her hind paws and swiftly delivered a blow to the rabbit, knocking it off balance. Her blow dazed the hare giving Sentry enough time to put it out of it's misery with a single bite to it's neck. Grabbing the hare in her jaws the she-wolf padded back towards her pack mates and dropped the hare down in front of them.

Lyall shook her head "I'm alright, you may eat it" she said. She smiled and her bright yellow eyes looked at Sentry and then back at Bear.

Bear's eyes lit up at the sight of a hare. "I'm alright, you may eat it." he heard Lyall say. "You sure?" he asked, shrugging. His eyes turned to Sentry. "It's your catch, you going to have some?" he asked the she wolf.

"I'm okay, you two split it." Sentry said as she took her place beside the two wolves, sitting back on her rear just as she had before. She lowered her gaze and let out a soft sigh as she thought about what Bear had told her about being raised by an actual bear. She soon curled her tail around her fore-paws and then lifted her gaze to her pack mates. "Go ahead. Eat." she said with a smile. "A gift from your grateful Alpha." said the white female.

Lyall smiled "thank you Sentry" she said with a bow of her head. She took a small bite of the hare, and then put her head back up.

"This is why males like me are overweight." Bear commented with a chuckle. He watched Lyall take a bite, then took a bite himself. He chewed the juicy tasty meat and swallowed. "It's delicious, thanks." he smiled to the Alpha female.

Lyall laughed "I doubt your overweight, just need a soak in a river" she teased with another laugh.

Lyall shook her head "no then you will stink up the whole den. I don't need that" she said prodding him.

Sentry dipped her head to her pack mates and smiled. She laughed at Lyall's remark towards Bear. "If anyone is over weight it's that meat head, Bruin." Sentry said before adding in, "You've yet to meet him Bear. He's out on a hunting patrol I believe." the she-wolf said with a smiles.
