Outside of the Cave

The outside of the cave is a nice area of a little bit of open land before reaching the bordering trees that lead to the forest. The small clearing is where the wolves relax and bask in the sun and play around. This is also the only area a pup is allowed to be without an adult wolf with them at all time.

Adolpha walked onto the territory; the male was in a bad mood. Right now he didn't care about territory. This time though when he stumbled onto the territory he looked up "woops" he said and looked around for a wolf that owned it.

Volstagg, a rather large grayish white male with black tipped ears and a black streak on his muzzle lay basking in the sun, hearing the word /whoops/ from a strange male he picked his head up and angled his ears forward, emitting a low growl, one that was coated with warning, neck fur bristling, he scrambled to his paws and stood tall.

Adolpha turned his head. He instantly growled, then thought 'I'm on their territory' he lowered his ears. He looked at the wolf "hello" he said. His deep voice interrupted the wolfs growl.

His growl ceased as the wolf greeted him, with a puzzled gaze he straightened his stature and glared a fiery gaze at him.. "State your name!" his bark was full of great demand, his fluffy tail curled up along his bristling back that had now just started to lie flat as the hunter gazed at this wolf

Adolpha laughed. He was larger then this wolf but rolled his eyes "My name is Adolpha" he said lifting his upper lip showing his white teeth. He growled lowly telling the wolf if he tried to attack he would hold no mercy.

Sentry, the alpha female emerged from the mouth of the cave. Her soft pale gray eyes focused on the two brutes who were causing a slight commotion. The white pelted fae flicked her tassel as she made her way out onto the crispy white snow which felt cold on her soft black pads. She looked to Volstagg and gave him a dismissive nod before turning her attention to the newcomer. "Welcome." Sentry said as she came within a mere foot of the large brute. The Valkyrie was small in size but shouldn't be mistaken for weak. "You shouldn't be growling or asserting dominance in an unknown territory." the female said in a soft voice as she looked to the new male. "Be respectful on an unknowns land." a low growl could be heard form the white female.

Adolpha turned to the female. He smiled "well I don't take hostility very well. Very well as you wish, as you are the alpha here" he said.

The large wolf grinned as he heard his alpha's words, sitting down he wrapped his tail around his large forepaws, his eyes boring into the pelt of the opposing brute, his fur had relaxed completely now that Sentry had entered the clearing, with a heavy sigh Valstagg remained silent.

(ermm, not sure how that's worded but, how are you sure the adolpha is bigger the val?)

A soft nicker came from the white she-wolf as she glared at the new male. "and I don't accept ignorance in my pack." she said as she turned on her paws and padded over to her pack mate, known as Volstagg. She dropped back onto her haunches, allowing her gaze to focus on the new brute. Her gray pools could have been mistaken as that of a blind wolfs.

Volstagg offered a slight nudged with his muzzle as the alpha sat beside him, though he remained quite and allowed Sentry to take over, not wanting to cause conflict, yes, he was a hunter but he knew how to fight well enough to protect the pack he called home.

Adolpha laughed "alright. May I join your pack..." he said inquiring her name. He sat down on his haunches and his ears were perked. He turned to the male "and yours" he asked again asking his name.

A deep rumbling growl came from him as he barked his name with pride "I am Volstagg!" his eyes narrowed as he heard the words /may I join your pack/... heaving a sigh he glanced to the female "is that a good idea?" he asked.

Adolpha smiled "nice to meet you" he said and in his mind he growled. He looked at the alpha to see what she had to say.

An annoyed looked passed over the females visage as she glared at the wolf-hybrid. She rose to her paws and snarled at the brute. "If you wish to join my pack prove yourself worthy." she snapped rising and turning on her paws, trotting back to her cave. "Go hunt us something good. Volstagg, escort him to the forest and let me know how the creature does." she said in an aggressive tone before entering her den, her white plume lashing out from side to side.

Adolpha nodded. He looked at the male as he stood up dominating him in size. He held his tail and head high After the alpha had left. He looked at the male "ready" he said, his deep voicing echoed.

He snarled "Try anything and you'll be high-tailing it out of here whimpering like a pup." Rising to his paws he strolled out of the camp, his tail curled along his back like a husky's tail.. His eyes were sharp as were his wits.. he knew much about this territory and wouldn't hesitate to get this wolf here lost.

A large dark brute stopped just before the border into the territory. A sigh came from the male's mouth. He had never been in contact with a wolf pack before, only the occasional lone wolves he'd chase away. The dark brute paced around slightly, unsure how he would act once he entered the territory. Being raised by bears, the brute wasn't sure how wolves acted around another. The whole howling and how wolves used their tail completely puzzled him, seeing as he had only a stump of a tail. The dark brute sighed once more. "Just do it." he told himself and padded in. The dark brute trotted slowly into the territory. He took in the different scents as he glanced around in curiosity. Maybe wolves aren't that bad, who knows. He thought.

Sentry exited the mouth of the cave, her paws quickly coming in contact with the snow that had fallen the previous night. Her head was held high and her tail stuck out and went down into a slight slope. Her ears swiveled at the unknown sounds. The white she-wolf took in her surrounding scents and notices a new scent. A mixture of bear and wet lupus fur. A low growl emitted from her at the bears scent. Uncomfortable and rage filled feeling roared inside the demoness. She was terrified of bears since the attack on her pack over a year ago. The white fae searched her terrain in a desperate manner until she caught sight of what was producing the bearish scent. "Who are you?" she asked, in an assertive but soothing tone towards the large brute who carried himself well. The She-wolf noticed something odd about the male. He had only a stump for a tail.

The dark brute's head turned when he heard a voice. He looked over to see a white fae. His ears flicked as he watched her with a rather blank expression. Was she showing dominance? he wasn't sure. Wolves are so difficult to read, he thought. The brute's head raised as he introduced himself. "My name is Bear, I was hoping to join this pack." he replied in his deep voice. The dark brute watched to see how she'd react.

Sentry dropped back onto her haunches, the cold snow slowly seeping through her thick white pelt to her pink skin. She tilted her head and then exploded with laughter. "Bear.. really?" she giggled. "Of course your name is Bear. You reek like one." she gave the brute a soft welcoming smile. "Welcome," she said rising to her paws again. "If you wish to join please follow me." the white beast turned on her paws and trotted back towards the comfort of her packs resting area. She stopped briefly, glancing behind her making sure the large, ear torn, stumpy tailed wolf was following her.

The dark brute was not expecting in the least for the she wolf to start laughing. He rolled his eyes lightly and smiled. "Thanks." he responded to the welcome. When the fae turned her back, the male couldn't help but sniff his paw and wonder what he smelt like. Is it really that strong? Chuckling slightly to himself, he shook his head and followed after the white fae. The stump of a tail moving slightly to sides as he marched after her.

She trotted towards the entrance of the cave and took a seat on the cool surface of the mouth of the cave. Her gray eyes turned on the brute who followed after her. "This is the pack cave." Sentry said as her long white feathered plume stirred up dust from the cave floor." she spoke in a sweet soft tone to the dark colored he-wolf. "I welcome you to the pack. The rest of the pack is out on a hunt at the moment and will be back shortly. Go a head and make yourself at home." the fluffy white she-wolf said with a smile.

The dark brute looked inside curiously. "So this is what wolves sleep in. Looks no different to a bear cave. Makes things easier for me." he chuckled and shook his dark pelt. "Thanks.." It had just dawned on him that the she wolf had never said her name. "By the way, what do I call you?" he asked the white fae.
